Where has Report gone

You all might be wondering where Report has gone? This blog post is going to explain all of it, it’s been a roller coaster of a ride.

Report started off all the way back in 2020, and where we left it, went through various iterations and designs. It started off as a personal project to manage my servers, but as friends also wanted to use it, I expanded upon it so others could use it in their servers as well. Towards the end of 2023, we just needed a break from maintenance and uptime on Report, to be honest, we just lost motivation to continue the project.

We decided to take Report offline for the rest of 2023, with a plan of bringing it back in early 2024. With the coming back of the bot, we want to finally introduce our dashboard, where you can view history of reports and its contents. We also want to expand the functionality of Report to include tickets, ticket panels and basic moderation features. Why so we want to do this? We want to make Report a one stop shop for your Discord moderation.

Here is a list of features that we want Report to have at the end of the new version (and some more maybe…)

• Reporting (by command and by button)
• Tickets
• Basic moderation
• Global ban list
• Global moderation list
• Dashboard

At the end of all of this, I just want to thank everyone who has helped Report along the way. This includes Feky, who helped with development and shad0wraider from Hyper Layer who always helped us with our hosting infrastructure.
